Dark Inception is a Tairora coffee variant of our barrel aged stout Epilogue. The Taiora coffee region of Papa New Guineas delivers a creamy coffee with an orange like acidity, which in turns gives our beer added layers of complexity. The coffee was roasted by our friends Solberg & Hansen.

0,33 litre Can, from Vinmonopolet Lillehammer. Almost Black with brown head. Roasted malts, coffee, Chocolate, oak, liqorice, some bourbon, hides The alcohol well. Nice Stuff!

Can. A quite oily pour reveals a black body and a small dark beige head. No lacing. The aroma is rather intense, with loads of coffee and bourbon. Roasted malts, hints of licorice and dark dried fruit. Wood and vanilla hints and a light spiced hint. It's full bodied and quite oily on the palate, lightly warming, with a good balance of sweetness and bitterness. The flavor too has loads of coffee, quite a lot of roasted malts and bourbon, some wood and licorice and a light spiced, woody hint. Lasting bitter, sweet finish with delicious coffee and bourbon and a good dash of of other flavor. Delicious indeed, and hiding the alcohol very well. Looking forward to the next. 230116

WoW. Solid evening sipper. Not to much bourbon ο Complete black pour and a fine head Nice intensity in the aroma Balanced sweetness and a fine mellow carbonation level Dangerously easy to drink Dark malt, chocolate, vanilla, mild bourbon, some licorice and coffee in the flavor [Can from Kenneth]

Bortimot svart med brunt skum. Lukter Kaffe, trevirke og mΓΈrk sjokolade. Sterk kaffe, alkohol, salt lakris i smak. Godt:-)
