0,5 flaske fra postordrekatalogen, hjemme: mørk kobberrød med forbilledlig skum. Maltrik, humlerik - akkurat slik det står, og mersmaken er like rik. Deilig furunålsbitterhet kombinert med mørke karameller. So smooth and creamy. Ga meg troen tilbake etter den miserable Ægir Dag Pineapple som jeg nettopp led meg gjennom.

500ml bottle, batch nr. 460, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Patchy beige head, close-to-clear orange coloured body, spotty lacing. Inviting smell earthy malts and ripe orange. Well balanced taste of orange and caramel. Rounded, mid-dry ending with moments of citrus peels, fair bitterness to it. A nice one with my lamb ribs on Christmas eve. (Tromsø 24.12.2022).

Amber, cloudy with a medium off white head. Aroma of malt bread with some fruit and spices sense. Medium bitter with a good malt, spices and fruit end. Tested with flu, so aroma uncertain. bb 09.2023 Vinmonopolet.no 12.2022

Bottle. It's a hazy amber colored beer topped by a nice-looking two-finger off-white to beige head. Nice curtains. The aroma has a lovely blend of caramel malts and piney hops, with some bread, toffee and a touch of dark dried fruit, along with grapefruit and some hints of orange marmalade. It's full-bodied, smooth and very nicely carbonated, with a suitable sweetness and a good bitterness. The flavor has piney, grapefruity hops up front, with orange marmalade, grapefruit, a peppery hint and some grass, with a solid backdrop of toffee-ish malts, caramel and bread crust. A bit too grassy in the lasting finish I think, else the swallow is just as nice as the initial flavor. A really delicious one, a kind of beer I hope get a renaissance soon, there's too few of these on the market, even fewer at this quality level. 220105

Bottle. Unclear amber body under a fine tan head. Fine aroma of malt, toffee, citric fruit, mature fruit and some pine. Taste is sweet caramel malt, mature citric fruit, marmalade, pine and fine bitterness. Balanced body and long lasting, smooth and bitter aftertaste. A really nice version of a red IPA and a superb match to pizza of course.
