Bottle. It's a lightly foggy orange-golden colored beer with a small white head. Some lacing. The aroma has a good dash of fresh cardamom, some citrus zest and generic fruityness, along with a touch of pale malts. Sort of christmas cracker-ish. It's medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, nicely but perhaps a bit heavily carbonated, and with a soft bitterness. Cardamon, orange zest, some lemon juice and generic citrus, a piney hint and some lightly bready pale malts in the flavor. Medium length finish. Feels like there's more spices than just cardamom in this one, but it's not overpowering the rest of the aromas and flavors. Sort of tripel-ish, so i guess a version at about 7-8 % ABV would've been intereseting. 221218

500ml bottle as Lyst Juleøl, #837, bought at Qvænbrygg Ølutsalg in Vadsø. Spotty lacing from a stable white head, misty yellowish-gold body. Moderate smell of spiced fruits, mid-dry. Rather sweet fruity flavours joined by mild caramel and some spices. Ends malt-fruity, sweet. Accepted. (Hotel room, Vadsø 08.12.2022).
