Brown with off white head - Roasted malt aroma - Roasted malt flavour with some bitterness and some smoke - Roasted malt finish with lingering smoke flavours - This was nice

250ml draught, 4.7 % abv, at AUK exhibition stand, Trøndersk Matfestival. Covering fawn-coloured head, spotty lacing, black-brownish body. Roasted malty aromas, smoked, inviting. Mixed taste character of plain dark malts with a twist of dark fruits. Ends with a touch of smoked malts. Pretty good, but it feels a bit thin on the swallow. (Trondheim 28.07.2022).

KRS 131214. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is smoked, roasted malt. Flavour is smoked, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, caramel. Medium body. Nice beer.

Bottle, from trade with KnutAlbert. A dark brown to black beer topped by a dense, brown head. Smoked, ham-like aroma with some chocolate and roasted notes. Smoked, ham-like flavor too, with some bacon and dark chocolate. Full body and a soft carbonation level. Lasting finish with more chocolate and less smoke than in the initial flavor. I’d like a tad more sweetness in this one, else it’s a fine brew indeed. 141213

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and smoke, Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long smoke, roasted and coffee finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
