0.75 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, 2023 vintage, best before September 2025. Almost, very deep amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity aroma of molasses, caramel, rum, sultanas, vanilla and light coconut. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity taste of molasses, caramel, sultanas, rum, vanilla, some wood and hints of coconut, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly woody-dry, minimally boozy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really nice BA Bock, at least on par with this year's Bourbon variant.

0.75 l bottle from 'Craft Bier Bude', best before December 2022, cellared for more than half a year. A little hazy, dark reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite fruity aroma of red berries, candied cherry, molasses, tobacco, coconut and vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, rather fruity taste of caramel, vanilla, coconut, raisins, candied cherry, tobacco and rum, followed by a long, gently bitter, quite boozy, minimally woody finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really interesting beer with massive influence from the rum barrel, already a bit too much in my opinion. Still a pleasant sipper, quite boozy though.

Fläschla (750ml): Hazy, light amber coloured, stable creamy off-white head, moderate sweet and mildly bitter aroma of wood (a bit tannic) and rum, sweet malt and well hidden fruity traces included; moderate to solid sweet and mildly tart and bitter flavour, full bodied, what else; slightly drier in the fruity-woody and mildly tannic-boozy finish. Not earth-shaking...
