For this specific Zenne y Frontera, we blended not less than seven barrels of Oloroso from the Josefa Perez bodega. Situated in one of the oldest quarters of Jerez de la Frontera, in the Shadow of the Iglesia de Santiago, most of the barrels were sold in 2006 to Urium. Today, the family keeps a low inventory of barrels and sherry to provide us with. We used lambikken originating from seven barrels and eleven brews; more than 60% of the cereals were grown in Pajottenland. The weighted average of this blend upon bottling was about 36 months. A small part of the blend was bottled on magnums.

MBCC 2025. Session #2
Nice funk, some minerals, smooth. Taste is a bit too much on the minerals and acidity side. Still nice.

1.5L bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma has a wonderful sherry character, moderate funk, and some leathery oak. Flavour has a wonderful sherry barrel, light liquorice, moderate funk, and some leather. Real beautiful sherry expression. Beauty.

Magnum at Lambik-O-Droom. Pours murky golden orange with a white head. Tons of dusty barrels, sherry, and some fennel seeds on the nose. Flavour has a ton of dusty barrels, more fennel seeds, very pleasant sherry character. This is excellent.
