Delightfully dry to medium-dry, it strikes a perfect balance between acidity and tannins, dryness and sweetness, and between ciders old and new.
The unique assemblage balances all four styles of cider apple: bitter, bitter-sweet, sweet, and sharp, in varieties such as Marie Ménard, Kermerrien and Judor. They come from traditional apple orchards near the river Rance in northern Brittany’s Côtes-d’Armor; this is a cider true to its roots, and ours.
Slow fermented for medium strength, it has a lovely harmony of earthy aromas and vibrant tastes. Enjoy this zingy unwinder just as it is or discover its food-friendly nature with lightly spicy food.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'House of Goods'. Clear, golden amber with a thin, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, moderately fruity aroma of ripe apples and some wood. Gently sweet, a bit sourish, quite dry and rather fruity taste of ripe apples, some walnut and a bit of wood, followed by a short, slightly tart, rather dry and a bit woody finish. Thin body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice, well-balanced Cider!

330ml bottle from Beer Zoo. Deep golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of juicy apple, caramel, vanilla. Taste is bittersweet, tangy apple, fruity, with caramel & vanilla notes, some light woody funk and tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style C1C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L3727800 (BBF 10-2019). AROMA: medium-high green-like apple aroma with a slight brettanomyces-like farmyard note. slight sweet overall background. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. slight white head with no retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium green-like apple notes with a sweet profile. dry finish. PALATE: medium body with medium-low carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: a normandy cider with what appears to be the typical notes and a bit back-sweetned with juice to balance the tanninic presence perceived as astringency.

Bottle. Gorgeous bright golden amber color, very fizzy. Big apple aroma, flesh and skins. Taste is mostly skins, dry, almost earthy. Tasty.

Bottle (from Selver). Pours orange with whiteish head. Aroma is sweet, sugary, apples. Flavor is sweet and sour, some dryness, apples, sugar. Finish has slight dryness. Body is watery. Carbonation is high. Overall: okish, would prefer it to be less sweet tho.
