Bottled. Deep brown colour, small off-white foamy head. Aroma is rye bread, some cinnamon, mild syrup sweetness and some toasted elements. Flavour is sweet grains, some toast and a bunch of xmas spices (cinnamon and clove atleast). Not that Bock like... Still quite ok to drink as a spices beer though.

And so it came to pass that six like minded people met on the 20th day of November in the year of 2016: those six people shared twenty five fine beers. This is one of those twenty five. Sadly this 500ml bottle was old of date by two years, but it seemed fine to me. Lightly tanned head on a dark, murky brown body. This had an aroma and taste of a malty and creamless Black Forest Gateaux that had extra spices added in it’s cake mix. I enjoyed it.

Bottle received from Saxo in a small trade. Pours a very dark deep reddish brown with a tan colour head. Aroma of Christmas spices, Christmas cake, malt and chocolate. Medium+ sweetness, light bitterness. Full rich body, slick texture, but too carbonated. A very enjoyable Christmas beer even in June!

Malty smooth nose. The beer starts malty with a sweetish malty layer. Malz-Bonbon, hints of burned caramel. Smooth but easy to drink. Not too deep, malty with a nice intense roasted-sweetish aroma and no bitterness.

Pours dark reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, bread, cinnamon, cardamom, molasses. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long bready, caramel and molasses finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
