Erg goed.

After quite some time, a small tan-cream ring appears over almost black beer, pouring viscously. Nutty, sweet & mild roast, bit meaty, black olives, sparandrap. The above, plus some herbs as sage, faint rosemary, chamomille. The sparandrap (band aid) gets more outspoken. Full bodied, alcoholwarmth, oily, not very carbonated. OK, but just not quite the level of some of Menno's former big stouts.
