Green Velvet and its new alter ego, Purple Paisley, are a symbiotic team, a codependent duo, an ego-less partnership delivering delicate and flavourful hop experiences.
Purple Paisley is designed to be a balanced IPA with a tad more fruity oomph than Green Velvet with notes of blackberry, pineapple sage, and sour grape candy finish.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: burnt yellow to orange cardboard haziness with a slim cap of a little white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: some berries/pineapples, lemon pulp and white grapes; light crackery malts underneath
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a bittersweet juicy way; mild pineapple-y to white grapey afertaste
Texture: medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; nice low carb, some smoothness to the tongue but also light hop burn (seemed to fade further out with more sips); finishes with the berries & pineapple-y tones
Overall: nicely done NEIPA I would return to.

Opaque. Not much head. Slightly berryish weedy notes...the malts are thick but not refined. Again blackberry notes. The hop expression is solid work, but the malt seems to let this down a bit, with simplistic gloppy sugars.

Can from the LCBO. Murky pale orange with a small white cap that fades slowly and leaves stringy lace. Citrus and tropical fruit with some peach, grapes and candy along with a light grain. Light fruit sweetness of candied orange and a medium- grassy bitterness. Mouth is medium+ and creamy with average carbonation. 7+/4/7+/3+/15

Golden, hazy with an amber highlights, warm whitish, frothy-bubbly head, good stay and some light lacing spots. Fresh orange juice aromas with a touch of raisins, grassiness and oats. The mouthfeel is smooth with a tad tart left, and a decent-milder building dryness. A milder tasting juicy IPA that goes down easy, but lots of orange juices in the nose.

Not loving this as much as like my peers. Cloudy. Losts of hops here over light, almost thin, sweet malt. Hops is resin, imposing light citrus, with a lingering bitterness. Can lcbo

Can from 8DP. Pours a hazy, glowing straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers, then dissipates. Strong aromas of mango, citrus, concord and green grape on the nose. Well rounded mouthfeel. Wild grape, lychee and lingering pithy citrus on the palate with a note of dank that lingers.
