Bottle, at Haand Festival. It’s a brown beer with a light tan head of moderate size. Lasting, and leaving some curtains. Coffee, dark chocolate and roasted malts in the aroma, with a lot of ginger, in a surprisingly nice way, and some lime and/or lemongrass. Rather citrusy. It’s lightly sweet and bitter on the palate, with a light sourish citrus touch, and a full body. Roasted malts, coffee and chocolate, with a good dash of ginger and lime. Lasting finish. A highly unusual porter, but nice indeed. 160528

Weicher röstig bitterer Antrunk, viel zu starke Karbonisierung. Zitronengras, geringe Herbe, Thymian. Die trockene Röstigkeit fährt zurück, leichte Hopfigkeit. Interesant! 11/11/8/11/10/11

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (PBF XI) by oh6gdx - Petalax ]. [ As Kingpin / Pracownia Piwa From Dusk ].Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, spicy, thyme, oregano, ginger. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, spicy - malt bitter, dark malt, spice ??, ginger, lemon. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Quit odd but i did like it ! [20160708] 7-4-7-3-14

Bottled@PBF XI. Black colour, small brown head. aroma is ginger, lemongrass and some slight toasted and herbal notes. Flavour is liquorice, lemongrass, ginger and some slight citrus notes.

33cl bottle @PBF XI. Poured black in color with a thick brown head. Aroma has thyme, roastedness, licorice. Ginger notes as well. Flavor has ginger, lemony notes, roasted malt. Don’t really like the added stuff. Hood have been so good base beer on its own.

0,33L bottle (from Koht). Pours dark brown with light brown head. The head stays. Aroma is roast, dark chocolate, coffee, malt, burnt notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, coffee, dark chocolate, malt, some acidic notes. Body is on the thin side. Finish is roast bitter with some ashy notes. Overall: ok, roast is bit too agressive-acidic for my taste and there’s not much more going on.

Bottle sample @ Haand fest ’16, Drammen. Ambrée-foncée brune, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme est malté, grillé, pointe de chocolat, rétro vert citronné finemetn houblonné. Palais est malté entré sur pas mal de grillé, pointe de caramel, léger choco avec une balance houblonné un peu plus présente, fleuri, zest et herbacé et qcq épices en fin de bouche.
