Taking inspiration from one our highest rated Pale Ales, Wandering Eye, we loved the flavour balance but decided to take it to new levels of intensity. On our thickest DIPA malt bill to date and generous rounds of dry hopping, this Imperial IPA celebrates Kohatu, Motueka, Nectaron and Taiheke hops.

Panda from LCB. Hazy orange-gold with small white top. Aroma of orange, lemon, pineapple, grapefruit zest, grass and light herbs. Taste has a notable peach with syrup, orange peel, pineapple, light herbs and spice. Medium to full bodied, smooth and slightly resinous, soft carbonation. Modest bitterness but its not overly sweet either so has a nice balance.

Can from Eltham Wines. Murky orange pour with a white head. Nose is peach, cantaloupe melon, apricot, passionfruit, quite floral. Taste is peach, mango, grapefruit, papaya, apricot. Zesty fruity mouthfeel. Thick juicy hoppy aftertaste. Nice.

Burk stor ölprovning sommarhuset . Sist jag testade overtone Dipa så var den grymt bra så jag har stora förväntningar på denna. Häller upp och klunkar rejält . Känner då en viss krämighet i kkonsistensen. Sen kommer mango aprikos och lite apelsinmarmelad . Men verkligen ingen citrus Dipa. Perfekt balans mellan fruktsötma och beska. Yepp Overtone har gjort det igen.

Keg at BD Inverurie. It pours cloudy deep golden - orange with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, peach melba, mango smoothie.and tinned fruit cocktail. The taste is soft, sweet, juicy, bitter - sweet, juicy, peach, candied mango, tinned fruit cocktail, boozey slap, prickly spice, some creaminess, orange creamsicle and candy with a soft, sweet finished. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Fair.

440ml can. Hazy golden, big white head. Aroma of peaches, melon, pine, pineapple. Taste of sweet ripe peach and apricot, pineapple, pine, tropical fruits, melon, low bitterness. Wouldn't say this is as thick as they imply but it's a decent body and very smooth, soft.

Can from Great Grog. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of peach, minerals and lemon. Flavour of orange cream, grass and pine. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Tangy and smooth.
