With Trail Pass IPA we captured the iconic citrus and pine explosion that you expect from a Sierra Nevada IPA, all without the alcohol. Hit the trail with the hoppy aromas and let the smooth maltiness wash over your taste buds. It's like a hike through a hop forest.
“It meets all of our criteria for what we would consider a craft IPA—not necessarily even a craft non-alcoholic IPA, but a craft IPA,” says James Conery, Innovation Brewmaster at Sierra Nevada.
Trail Pass uses traditional brewing methods, not alcohol removal, to create full craft flavor below the 0.5% ABV non-alcoholic threshold.

Can from Ondernulpuntvijf. Citrusy hop aroma with orange and some pale malt. Medium bitter flavour. Light to medium body, not as thin as most non alc. Good one.

Pours clear gold. Smells of mild citrus and caramel malt. It tastes moderately bitter with citrus and caramel. This is quite decent. I like it more than the hazy that I had the same night. Taste is similar to many a session IPA.

Can. Minimally cloudy pale yellow/orange with a small white head. Aroma of mild citrus fruits, a little bit of malts and stone fruits. Taste of citrus fruits, caramel, some tropical fruits, wort and minerals. Slightly spicy and herbal. Finishing on the drier side of things. Moderate bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Alright.

Can - this one tastes damn close to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and that is cool with me - slightly heftier body than you often find in N/A brews - hop character is spicy and nicely bitter - great bbq beer for when you are abstaining.

Can from Systembolaget. Of course its a tad thin but overall this is a decent stab at a classic wear coast IPA at this alco free point.

Purchased at Publix, drunk in Chesterfield at Eric's house. Decent body, relatively dry, pretty citrusy with good hop bitterness. Nice that it's not too grainy flavored. Good non alk option.
