Tonttu is single hopped with the Australian Enigma hop that gives a tropical fruit and near strawberry character that works beautifully with a little sweetness with it being a red ale.

Cask at CBC, Shoreditch on 30th December 2018. Brownish copper with virtually no head or lace. Caramel malt and soft fruits in aroma. Heavy caramel malt in-mouth and throughout the finish. A medium body and smooth texture.

Draught @ Den Engelske, Fredericia. Pours clear dark golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light bred, grass, light dusty, citrus. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, malt, caramel, grassy, some nice bitter citrusly hops. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet and light bitter finish. 241118

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Gyldenbrun. Lavt tett skum som daler sakte. God ferskenaroma. Smaken balansert. Mye tørket aprikos. Blir tørr etter hvert. Godt øl!

Dark amber, light haze, white head
Aroma of citrus hops, soft lemon, soft zest, soft sweet malt under the hops
Taste of caramel malts, citrus zest, soft toasted malts, quite hoppy, good flavour
Palate - Medium carb and body, quite bitter, good bitter sweet balance, no alcohol. Finish if a bit dry, bitter zest
Overall - Not really an Xmas ale, just a good hoppy red ale. Liked it.

Tap @ Jopenkerk Haarlem. Clear light amber with a medium sized off white head. Smells hops, sweet, fruity, some light herbs, nice. Tastes hops, pine, slightly sour fruits, resin, fruity. Quite a nice beer. Medium body, soft carbo.

7 3 7 3 15 Draft at Brody’s. Clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of caramel malt, floral notes and red berries. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle. Barely clear, amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, fruity, minimally earthy and leafy, hoppy aroma, notes of red berries, foremost redcurrant, strawberry, lingonberry. Taste is sweet-ish malty and fruity, minimally leafy and earthy, hoppy, notes of red berries and corresponding shrubs. Quite classic "British" fruitiness.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop Canterbury and drunk on a train. Deep amber colour lasting white head. Some malts some sweetness. Some harsh bitterness on the finish. Fruit? Hmmm a little jammy malt fruit i suppose. Light strawberry flavour. Decent if not too exciting. Decent.

Bottle shared at Leighton's place 31/01/2018. Many thanks! A clear deep orange coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, earthy grains, piney hop, raspberry, orange rind, raspberry. Palate is semi sweet, light sticky hop, moderate carboantion, . Flavour is composed of semi sweet, dusrty grains, piney hop, orange rind, brown sugars, earthy dusty grains,
