Dry Hopped Pilsner
Paper Tiger is the Bellwoods dry-hopped lager, where we aim to combine a traditional pale malt bill and firm bitterness, with the levity of a bright and very generous dry hop. The resulting beer is crisp, clean, and bursting with floral, fruity hop aromatics.

Can from the brewery. Hazy yellow pour with a large white head. Aroma is grassy, soft cereals, light lemon and hints of Basil.. Mouth feel is perfect and same for the carb. Finish is lightly bitter, cereals and lemon rind round it out, with soft freshly cut grass.

Probably waited a little long to drink this one. A 2022 version, and a little off. Slightly bretta like grapefruit vibe here. Golden pour with quite a lot of head. Light tangy finish. Can.

Straw colour, thin head. Fresh bready malts, grapefruit hops with a touch of pine. Balanced, nice bright fruitiness, only a light bitterness, with a really nice balance and appetizing.

Can I think, but KBL. Hazy gold with a low, bubbly head. Very lemony nose, soft crackery malts. Lemony, light malt flavor, crisp and minerally. Nice hops for sure, though the lager character is a bit lacking.

Draught at Darby's Gastown, Vancouver
Hazy pale blond colour. Interesting aroma, a bit of manure, and hay; atypical but it can work. Good body for a Pilsner, dry mouthfeel, delicate crisp base, bit of manure again, bit of grass, ordinary bitterness.
A peculiar but interesting Pilsner.

A hazed golden pils with a thin white lacing head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with fruity esters, nice crisp German hops, light mineral notes, nice. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with light herbal Saaz hops, light mineral notes, nice and refreshing. On tap at Hafis Road location.
