The Cappucino of beers. Roasty, smooth and sweet.
Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Bottle from South Bay Drug. Looks rather ruby when viewed against strong light. Two finger foamy beige head. Smells like smooth burnt malt. Near medium body. Mild carbonation. Flavor is smooth burnt malt. A bit muddy and earthy. It is mildly sweet at best. Finishes earthy/grungy and burnt. Maybe there’s a bit of coffee, but doubtful. With time it seems almost dry. Gets better and better. Finally hop bitter comes out. It starts to convince me it has complexity. Drinks very well.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a medium tan head. Roasty, chocolate malts in the nose, with some banana cream and rich coffee. Flavor starts pretty sweet, then some chocolate and bread, followed by modest coffee and tobacco in the finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation and quite smooth. Very nice.

A deep dark stout with a thick dark moka head. A light aroma of chocolate, coffee, and berry notes. In mouth, a rather light chocolate and moak taste, with sustained toasted malts, bitterness, but I found this one a bit simple, left me on my hunger. Not bad.

12 oz bottle. Deep black, like a good stout. Good head retention. Tastes smoky and silky. Excellent stout from America’s biggest brewery.
