Bottle. Golden color. Aroma is the average pale aroma with nothing special. Taste also nothing special with a pale ale flavor.

February 2016: 355 ml bottle, from Matkroken Stokka. Probably well beyond its BB date. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, low white head. Aroma of dust, grain and wet basement. The flavour has a certain citrussy fruitiness that makes the beer drinkable, on a less pleasant background of very "dusty" malts. Low bitterness. Might have been somewhat better when it was fresh, but hardly a great beer anyway.

0.355l bottle. This is a deep blurry dark golden looking one, a medium sized just off-white lasting and mildly lacing head on top. Sweet caramelly nose with tones of birch, wood juices, something light floral and that's about it. Straight forward nothing extraordinary but not bad at all either. Sweet caramel flavors as well. Quite malt sweet with glazed fruits, mildly grassy hops and maize. Some biscuits qualities also here. Thin and almost a bit watery in the mouth while it's average on the bubbles. Not bad just a bit dull, lager-ish and to sweet IMO. 19.04.2014

Kirkas, kuparinvärinen olut melko pienellä ja nopeasti häviävällä vaahdolla. Tuoksu maltainen ja aavistuksen eksoottisen hedelmäinen. Maku maltainen, hedelmäisyys ei nouse esiin ihan tuoksun tavalla. Melko kuiva kokonaisuus. Aika yksiulotteinen olut ja maultaan melko mitäänsanomaton.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass. Aroma is resin with weak cereal. Appearance is hazy golden orange with nice sparkle, finger-width fizzy white head with fair retention and minimal lacing. Taste is light bitter herbs over cracker/biscuit light sweetness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with lively carbonation and abrupt lightly bitter finish. Overall, pretty light all around. Better than a macro but just barely.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 10/13/2014. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of citrus/floral hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, light pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of citrus/floral hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a really solid pale ale style. All around good robustness and balance of citrus/floral hops and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

35.5cl bottle. Bbe 20 April 2016. Pours amber color, clear with a thin white head. Small bubbles. Malty, citrusy, dusty aroma. Flavor has sweetness, cardboard, floral notes. Feels empty and tired. Papery. Meh.
