330ml can from Sainsbury's, Darlington. Gluten Free. Clear golden colour, foamy white head and aroma of elderflower, grainy. Taste is sweet, fruity, lemon citric, grain, pale malt, elderflower, sugary with papery light bitterness. Light bodied, high foamy carbonation, drying sweet fruity finish. OK cold, quite sweet

Can, pilfered from the Eurostar Lounge, St Pancras, 17th December 22. Straight from the can in the Theatre watching Jack and the Beanstalk. Taste is sweet, light elderflower, not much going on, but better than water

Can from Whisky Exchange. It pours clear straw yellow with a foamy white cap. The aroma is sweet and sugary, elderflower cordial, lemonade, cardboard/wet dog vibe and grain. The taste is initially crisp, then it sweetens up, old skool shandy vibes, sugary, lemonade, elderflower cordial, American cream soda, candy, damp grain and cereal. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Too sweet and sugary to be honest. So-so.

Can from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Blackley. Blonde with a carbonation and a small head. It mostly tastes like shandy, although the elderflower influence is notable in its nose and softens the taste a tad.

Can at home from Sainsbury's a clear pale gold / petrol coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is decent pale grains, floral elderflower, twist of lemon, some grass. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, white sugars, slice of lemon, floral elderflower. Refreshing but a little sweet. Palate is semi sweet, light, moderate carbonation.

Can from Sainsbury's, Brookwood. Aroma combines elderflower with slightly cardboard but crisp smelling hops. Light gold. Clear. Thick foamy white head. Sweet. Very much so. The elderflower plus syrup. A touch of bitterness, akin to soda. Light. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. This could be some sort of shandy style soft drink it's so sweet. Would at least go down well on a day hotter than today.
