A seriously hopped up session white IPA brewed with modern classic hops such as Citra, Motueka and Mosaic. A smooth wheat backbone helps support the hops, round the body and creates an awesome straw haze to the beer.

Pours a very hazy, slightly murky pale golden. Medium sized, rather compact white head; shows good retention but little lacing. Quite good intensity and freshness in the aroma: cerealy, slightly dough-like base, followed by resinous/piney bitterness and fruity notes of mainly melon (followed by peach, tangerine), perhaps the slightest spicy/prickly hops hint. Taste notes follow the aroma; quite good intensity as the smell suggested, a pretty strong softness/juiciness (but also a slightly harsh/rubbery one). Medium sweetness and bitterness, good overall balance though as mentioned you're left with a bit of harsh sensation. Light to medium bodied (definitely thicker than i expected for the abv, partly from the juicy component), medium carbonation, feels quite lively in the mouth. Quite good flavour-wise, not that good overall.

Half-pint, cask at York Tap. Shared with Finn. Bubbly white head to a clear warm golden body. Spotty lacing. Restrained smell of ripe fruits. Pineapple and orange fruity taste followed by bittersweet citrus peels to the ending. Rather thin on the swallow. Fair enough. (08.02.2019).
