Bottle at the Lufthansa Senator Lounge, MUC Airport. Hazy orange/amber with a large white head. Aroma and taste of banana, some cardboard and hints of yeast. Light but kind of drinkable.

Very thick & dense, stable white head over hazy orange-golden beer. Extremely malty and meaty nose (if not really mineral/salty), toast. Yet a tad smoked. Sweet and ’hot’ nose. Malty & wheat, lightly toasted. Hint at lemon hence mainly sweet, but with a slight sourishness. Medium bodied, quite wheatslick; medium carbonation. On all fronts, just a tad not enough - or too... leadfree...

I don’t understand why people rate this one so low and its alcoholic counterpart so high, even though they would score almost equal in a blind tasting. Pours hazy white golden with a thick white head. Aromas are mostly secondary: yeast, brioche, bread. Taste is fresh, mouth covering, full-bodied and persistent. Great alcohol free.

0.5 l bottle at 'Hünenpforte'. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, malty aroma of caramel, grains, some wort and hints of clove. Quite sweet, malty, minimally sourish taste of grains, wort and some wheat, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly tart and gently worty finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

Bottled from Mitra Bunnik, BB 02.2015, medium sample, poured in a tulip. Hazy to cloudy golden color, big frothy slight off-white head, slight debris. Aroma of some banana, slight clove, some caramel, bit wort. Quite sweet in taste, quite malty for a hefeweizen, slight sugary wort.
