Clear, bright, pale yellow color with a small white head; aroma of honey, noble hops, somewhat smooth palate, balanced flavor with a long, light bitter finish

16 ounce can from from Tavour. Yellow gold color. Pillowy white head. Bready, grainy malt aroma. Herbal hops notes as well. Flavor is more of the same. Light, bready malt, noble hops, mild citrus. Grassy notes on backend. Distinctive, yet incredibly refreshing.

16 oz can from Tavour. Clear golden pour, short-lived foamy white head, thin layer of foam remains. Grainy, bread aroma. Taste is biscuity, grainy leading up to a small snap at the finish. Nice hefty feel to this as well. Really nice all around, I can see why this has scored so well.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a large creamy white head. Aroma is grassy/ lightly spicy. Med body. Bready/malty but arguably dry. There's a slight grassy/spicy astringency. Or maybe a slight pink pepper note. Flavor is not strong, but it is very good.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp grassiness, light herbaceousness, and crackery malt. Flavour is bright and correctly structured, with crisp grassy hops, fresh herbaceousness, straw and crisp crackery malt. Exactly what I want from a helles — clean, nicely hopped, gently herbaceous. Very good as usual from the lager masters. --- Beer merged from original tick of Gold Dot Luxurious Helles on 28 Sep 2024 at 07:39 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: 16 oz. can, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has light grassy hops, crisp biscuity malt, and some straw. Flavour is crisp and clean, with grassy hops, herbal notes, and straw. Clean and drinkable but not as biting as I'd want it.

Bright gold, fairly thick head. Big slightly toasty pale malt, well balanced helles with just enough bitterness and a rich malt character.
