375 ml bottle shared by Adam! Batch #1…. Aroma is earthy black fruit with acidity. Flavor has the acid of the berry which is important for the balance. Very nicely crafted.

Batch 1 375mL bottle drunk 8/3/24, shared by AdamChandler. Juicy and rich marionberry. Fresh and authentic. Juicy and tart, not too sweet. Sweet, rich, juicy, leathery and peppery. Rich berry and juice. Sweet, but good acidity.

Pours a very dark purple. Scent is full, berry, bit boozy. Taste is full, fruity, mild alcoholpunch, sweet, sticky, very nice !

Bottle from Grapevine Beer & Wine near Dallas. Dark grape drank. Low-ball glass back at the shop. Cooked down & browned strawberry, low acid blackberry nose. Not bad but not what I expected. Lux, deep berry, very low tart, low acidity but it creeps. Sort of a strawberry & blackberry meets lush Concord Manichevitz wine. Rich, good amount of fruit, but a bit muddled.

Bottle, at share, thanks to Andrew. Pours opaque dark red. Berry, blackberry, sweet jammy berry, currant, sweet berry. Oily. Good.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 7 May 2022) Dark ruby red colour, almost black, with no head. Fruity nose with dried fruit, wild berries, blackberries, raspberries and forest fruits. Fruity, sweet taste with notes of wild berries, blackberries, forest, dark honey, treacle, blueberries and a sweet and warming finish. Full body, sweet. Sweet and a bit cloying, but rich and tasty with lots of sweet berries. Great mead.

Bottle sample at a Yana's tasting at troubles' place. Very deep purple. Lots of berries, butterscotch, floral, honey, sweet and slightly sourish, thick, rounded.
