thanks omhper! Hazy amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is ripe fruits, sweet malts, toffee and some slight alcohol to it. Flavour is ripe fruits, some toffee, mild sweet alcohol as well as some toffee and mild spiciness to a slightly toasted tone in the finish. Nice Barley Wine.

250ml can from Tavour. A Brewver Top 50 for the style. Hazy copper, red pour. Brief beige head. Toasted malt aroma has toffeeish notes. Flavor is intensely sweet and boozy. Brandy-like notes. Sticky mouthfeel. After the initial sips, the booziness subsides. Backend brings notes of brown sugar and dried fruits (think figs or dates). Some bitterness in finish. Interesting.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Clear pale amber, small head. Doughy toasty nose with evident alcohol. Very sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, toast and pears. Warming mid bitter finish

Frothy off-white good fully diminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Candis and some alcohol present. Long heavy bitter fiish. Creamy palate.

Can, 250ml. A lightly hazy reddish golden colored beer with a small beige head. Caramel, sugar, alcohol and pine cones in the aroma. Grass hints. It's full bodied and softly carbonated, warming and sweet. Bready pale malts and caramel flavor with piney, grassy hops. Sugary. Lasting sweet, fruity finish. A bit sweet and sugary but nice anyway. 241126

Can from Systembolaget. Almost clear reddish/amber with a small head. Sweet with toffee, dried fruit, orange, some banana, malt and light butterscotch. Full body and with warming alcohol.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingman, 20/04/24. Amber with a reddish glint topped with a thin light beige cap that dissipates edgewards. Nose is toffee, dates, figs, caramel, booze tunes, dark malts, brown sugars. Taste comprises fruit cake, brown sugar melt, light spice, dates, sultanas, molasses, toffee fudge. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a big kiss of alcohol. Fun enough strong but overly sweet for my liking and lacking depth for the high boost.
