Bottle. Copper colored with a nice head. Aroma is a tad weak with mostly malt. Taste is surprisingly bitter. Needs more balance.

Lots of minerals, biscuity malts, next to no hops. Malts get sweeter as it goes down, cloying honey notes. Very uninspiring and incredibly boring. Mediocre.

Ambar. Espuma abundante y aguanta hasta el final. Olor potente, herbal y sobre todo naranja. En boca, muy muy amarga. Y sin compensar. Sorprende para el estilo. Tan amarga o más que una IPA, pero se queda en sólo amargor. Pase amargo, final amargo, postgusto amargo. Cítrica y amarga. Pena.

500ml bottle, just out of date when opened on 15th Dec 2014. Bought at Beers of Europe and hidden in my stash until I rediscovered it yesterday. Poured at home into an Abbot Ale glass tankard, my ’go to’ tasting glass currently. Lovely clear body, bronze hue to the amber colouring: on top a smooth white blanket of foam. Semi-sweet malty lead in the aroma and taste, hops arriving in sweeping waves behind. Mild nutty hints within the taste and my sweet tooth loved the malt base of the brew. Good, nice feel to the blend of flavours, body depth also worthy of note. I am really impressed with the beers from these guys: will seek out more.

0,5L bottle, BB 30.11.2014. Pours clear amber with whiteish head. The head stays forever. Aroma is sweet, flowers, tropical fruits, mango. Flavor is sweet & bitter, flowers, tropical fruits, citrus, grapefruit. Finish is grapefruit and nutty bitter. Overall: very nice brew.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wine, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin white head and some broken white lace. The aroma is grassy woody hop, The flavour is medium bitter with a big strong citrus spicy dry pepper hop palate and a long liqourice bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. A bitter? It’s not an English Ale style bitter. It’s more like an IPA or an APA. A really superb beer. Very crisp and refreshing. I will buy a lot more of this in future.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks David C. Clear copper-amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and oxidation (cardboard). Sweetish flavor, malty, caramelly, with a big of fruitiness and a bit of cardboard, finishes bitter, a bit metallic, with light hoppiness and toast. Medium-bodied.
