Cask, gravity dispense at Merton Summer Beer Festival July 18th and 19th 2008 It says it’s bronze and I suppose we’ll have to agree that this is just about the colour of this beer. Some caramel on the nose but little else. Quite malty and a bit sweet in the mouth, I didn’t mind this but found it just a little forgettable such is the case that my notes extend no further than this, its fine but no great shakes.

Cask-conditioned at The Raven, Bath 5/7/08. Deep amber in colour with a small white head that left plenty of lacing. Caramel and citrus hop aroma. Sweet malt flavours with some red fruit and a decent bitter finish. Good.

Cask gravity @ Marble Arch, Manchester M4, UK.Clear light to medium amber color with a small, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, moderate toffee, butter, honey. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (180108)
