500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear light amber pour with moderate sized white head, leaves a lovely soft top and some lacing. Aroma is semi-sweet biscuit malts, grassy, some toffee. Taste is biscuit, toffee, floral grassy bitterness with a light tang. At first it tastes quite astringent but once my palate got used to it was quite a nice biscuity beer. Light to moderate body, fairly smooth and soft carbonation. Far from prefect but I quite liked it.

Appearance: Slightly fogged deep gold with a good off-white head. Aroma: Herbal and floral hop, biscuit malt. Taste: Light sweet, medium bitter. Clean. English malt, good hop. Lingering hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: Good.

Deep gold with a creamy, white head that lingers. Herbal aroma with something that might be pears—a bit hampered during sampling due to grill smoke. Taste is bitter with a sweet and tart hint at the finish. Medium-bodied. Crisp, clean feel. Goes down easy. Pleasant

8/7/2020. Sample courtesy of the SHIG, cheers! Pours clear golden with a short lasting bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, grain. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, quite fizzy. Not as good as the non-GF version I’ve tried before but not rated.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - amber or copper more than gold. Attractive lacing. Nose - oatmeal biscuits and honey. Perhaps a touch of orange zest. Taste - hobnob biscuits. Honey. Palate - chewy in texture. Close to medium in body. Decent chewy taper on the finish. Overall - yeah, pretty good example of the style.
