Pours mahogany tinged black into an English pint. Mocha head with good retention recedes leaving gloppy sheets. Milk chocolate and licorice aromas. Crisp with tart pit fruit, sourdough pumpernickel, licorice and anise front to back. Lasting dark chocolate and espresso finish.

Pours near black with an lingering off white head that laces well. Smells of roast malt and coffee. The flavor is of dark roast malt, chocolate, and coffee. The body is a little thin. Nice roasty finish but it seems too sweet.Thisbis good for a N/A while not being as good as I’d hoped.

Can (8/7/24) from Greg & Jane's. Virtually opaque dark brown w/slight mahogany, thick head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, molasses, toffee. Taste is strong earthy molasses and toffee. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Not sure it's quite like the original but excellent strength and is tasty in its own right.

Poured a nearly pitch black color with a medium sized tan head. Good head retention. Aroma was chocolate roasted malts. Light bitterness, touch of bakers chocolate and a touch of coffee roast. Some thinness, which is to be expected. Really good stuff considering it's a NA.

Roast and some nut. Pour black with ok head. Light tangy finish. Cloys a bit. Definitely better than most NAs.

Dark brown, with a fairly thick head. Toasty, chocolatey nose with a little bit of piney hop. On the palate, hoppy first, moderate bitterness. Lots of roast, some chocolate, touch of wort. Good complexity. Full body, a bit creamy. This is really good non-alc, maybe the best I've had.

12oz can from HomeBrewStuff. Near black pour, filmy beige head with ring. Light roasty aroma with light chocolate. Taste is light roasty malts. Simple. Not too bad, but seems thin.
