On tap at the brewery pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice roast malts some ash and chocolate. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate rich roast malts.

On tap at the Garden City brewery/taproom. Black pour, plenty of sharp dark roast aromas and flavors. Fairly thin we’ll attenuated feel.

Draft at Brown Beard. Near black pour, one finger beige head. Aroma is dominated by the roasty malts. Taste is roasty, smoky, chocolate with the bourbon cropping up at the back. Sweetness up front, bitter finish, light boozy notes.
