Keg at Lindheim Ølkompani, Gvarv. Clear golden, small head. Grainy marzipan aroma. Mid dry with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Grainy bready malt, marzipan and elderflowers. Mid bitter finish. Solid.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - London. Pours clear, deep gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds Belgian yeast, some honey, caramel, lightly toasted bread. Medium sweet flavour with more bready malts, faintly toasted caramel, ripe berries, low bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderately sweet in the finish, with nips of alcohol, more bread, ripe fruits, some marmalade, bread. Enjoyable, if somewhat simplistic.

Bouteille 500ml au Québec Ratebeer Gathering. Couleur orangée voilée, mousse beige pâle. Arôme de levure, malt, un peu fumé? Goût de levure, malt, tourbé? Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen.

A hazed golden amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, molasses, plums, light woody notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light peated notes, grassy hops, light mineral notes, dark fruits, plums, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bottle at ratebeer Quebec gathering.

Draft sample @ Haand fest ’16, Drammen. Shared with the Norwegian tasting crew. Léger orange, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme au nez fruité, malt et léger levure, rétro fin de grains, herbacé dans les houblons avec une petite impression de levure belge. Palais est malté, BE yeast, pointe d’esters, petite dose houblonnée fruitée et citronné. Poil de malts pils et pâle.

Tap at TCBW. Pours amber. Aroma is sour, rotten apples. Flavor is sour and sweet, citrus, fresh fruits. Finish is grapefruit bitter. Overall: ok.
