Can at Chris_o birthday bash 08. After a run of fairly awful beers, this was great. Amber, thin beige head. Sherberty grapefruit hop aroma. Very nice. Good pale ale. Drinkable with some piney notes.

Can. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, caramel, straw, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, gets very cellar dusty when it warmes up. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (140408)

This used to be a quite good beer, but since it has been changed, I feel the need to rerate:

New rating. Can, 5.0%. Metallic aroma. Clear dark amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is caramelly, bready and a little yeasty. Has an unclean malt note and a sort of Belgian type of yeast flavour which does not suit it. Low bitterness. 4 3 4 3 10

Old rating. Can, 5.0%. Good grassy hop aroma. The flavour has the same hoppiness, with caramel notes and a grassy finish. Distinct bitterness which is clean and cleansing. 7 3 7 3 17

can, 33cl. Refreshing nice aroma. Looks : dark yellow with nice allmost white lasting foam. Taste is a bit strange. Sort of like a watered down IPA, or a little stronger than usually pilsener. i can taste the alc. too much. Palate is okay. not as watery as the taste. Overall i’m not impressed. Perhaps a little better than the average beer, but not much. re-rate 2017-1-23 can 33cl. brewed may 2016, expire may 2017. Can does not reveal where it was brewed. clear amber, smooth white head. 3, Aroma of citrus, pine and hops. Also some sweet malty notes. 6 , Flavor is sweet malty, sugary notes, flavor resembling ripe banana, this is simply not the same flavor as it was, when brewed in bottles at ølfabrikken. I belive the early cans also tasted different than this. Taste is somewhere betw. 5 and 6, and should i blind taste it, i would guess messy belgian blonde. It is very unfair they keep the medals on the can, when the contents tastes totally different. palate 3, overall 12. All that being said, i bot a sixpack for 24 so 4dkk per can. At that price its quite okay.

Canned. An amber beer with a huge dark cream colored head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with grassy hoppy notes. The flavor is sweet malty with medium notes of caramel and grassy hops as well as a slight touch of grapefruit, leading to a quite dry and somewhat bitter finish. I find the body just a bit thin.

Cloudy amber with a lasting off-white head. Weak and slightly soapy citrus hop aroma with a little bready malt in the background. Sweetish with a reasonable bitterness and some grassy hop flavour. Lacks some of the crispness that a Sierra Nevada offers.

Can 33cl. Pours copper with a nice creamy white head & lacings. Aroma is nicely hopped - peach & grapefruit. Taste is a bit more laid back and quite bready/caramel with the hops vaguely lying in the back. Medium body & carbonation. Dry bitter end. In between an orig olfabrikken product and a GB product. Not superior - not bad - but Quite OK!
