(Keg at Viisi Penniä, 20160101) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had pine, grass, nettles and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were liquorice, pine, burnt malts, grass and bitterness. Afteraste was hoppy and bitter. A well done Black IPA in which the hoppines managed to overrun the burnt malts.
