An awesome & cool new collaboration between Tanker (EST) and Hiisi (FIN). Hiiepuu is a mahogany-colored ale brewed with heather, juniper berries & meadowseet and fermented with a blend of Sacch. Bruxellensis and a Belgian saison yeast, which come together and lend an interesting mix of aromatics to the herbal ingredients. Malty, biscuity, spicy and herbal, this is a great beer to help prep for the winter months.

Tap at koht. Pours copper. Aroma is sweet, herbal, spices, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, herbs, spices, malt, caramel, some fruits. Covers alcohol rather well. Overall: good, if you like herby stuff.
