Don’t call her sweet – she’ll knock your teeth out. Call her Juicy Lucy!

Trackdown was nice, but Juicy Lucy is nasty! We continue to raise our NEIPA game with a tropical, action-packed NEIPA called Juicy Lucy. A powerful fruit bomb flavorful enough to take on big-boy IPAs, but charming enough to wrap casual beer lovers around her little finger. We have big expectations for our new core superhero NEIPA. Cuz this Lucy is freakin’ Juicy!

Can.

Tap at Mingle Mush. Hazy yellow golden. Oats, wheat, pils malts, soft weedy hops, canned pineapple, papaya. Under medium sweet and light bitter. A little dry. Not amazing, needs more hops.

Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is rubbery, some citrus, soap and mild herbal tones. Flavour is fruity, some 7up, mild sweet tones to it. Juicy flavour, but aroma is just plain strange.

Half pint at Industry Tap. Hazy yellow pour, thin layer of fine white head. Light malty aroma, fruity, caramel, weak tropical. Taste is caramel and vanilla with some faint citrusy notes. Light on the palate. Clean finish.

Keg at If It Ain't Dutch. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Thinnish malts, sweet enough. Crisp pine and thin but reasonably bright citrus. A little pink grapefrui. Trace of peel in the back end. Crisp and semi dry finish. Refreshing if a tad thin.
