Bottle, 1pt. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a white head of two-finger size. The aroma is quite buttery, with peaches, yellow apples and grainy malts. Some hints of pepper and grass. It’s almost oily on the palate, full-bodied and with a soft carbonation. It’s not equally buttery in the flavor, but a bit too sweet for my likings. Fruits, some pepper and grains and a faint bitterness too. Sweet, fruity finish with some bitterness. Quite pleasant if you don’t spent much time smelling it. 131204

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Poura mostly ear gold with a fine, foamy white head. Very simple aroma of ceral, dry dough and hay. Medium sweet flavor with further cereal grains, faint hay bitterness, doughy sugars. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with cereal, toasted corn and grains, very subtle bitter hay, semi-dry dough. Super drinkable lager.

Light haze on this gold beer, decent white head. Palate is softish but with a good carbonated bite. Sweet pale malt, slight wheat character. Decent, for the style, citric hops provide balance. Finishes soft and lagerish.

1 pint can bought from a shop in Felixstowe. Pale yellow with a white head, quite thin, moderate carbonation, hay and grass apparent. OK but not great.

Das litauische Wort Rinktinis heißt soviel wie ausgewählt. Damit soll wohl auf die guten ausgewählten Zutaten oder das tolle ausgewählte Rezept verwiesen werden. Ich habe es 2013 im verschneiten Winter bei einem Bahnhofsupermarkt ausgewählt. Es ist ein gut süffiges Lagerbier, das zum Essen aber auch als Feierabendbier passt. Nichts allzu besonderes, aber nicht schlecht.

Runder, erdig herber Beginn. Das Bier bleibt herb und wird im Mittelteil trockener, süffig, hinter der Herbe süßlich. Süffiges, gut trinkbares Lager. 8/8/10/8/9/8
