On tap at McGillicuddy's in Williston, VT.
Appearance: fairly dark amber color with a bar pour's kind of white foamy head; no lace
Aroma: loads of caramel/toffee malts blending with some piney and grassy hops
Flavor: moderately sweet at first then seems to open up into more of a balanced bittersweetness through the malts and hops combination; slight aftertaste of the piney-ness and malts
Texture: light to medium bodied with a great sessionability about it; nice smoothness on my tongue; finishes with the piney-ness and the malts
Overall: nice West coast styled red ale I wouldn't mind having again.

Cask days 2016. Cloudy amber pour, small beige head. Aroma is malty, bready, slightly roasty, with some hints of nuts, and subtle pine and fruity esters. Soft mouth feel, soft carb. Finish is fruity, slightly toasty and roasty with soft pine and minerals and a medium bitterness.

Re-rate: poured from the tap. Clear copper with white head. Sweet biscuit malt, caramel. Not a ton of depth, but decent. Sept 26, 2022 (6/3/7/3/13=3.2): Poured from the tap. Clear copper gold with small white head. Biscuit malt, touch of bread and caramel. Simple, but decent.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours slightly ruddy amber with a near-white head. Fruity malty aroma. Med body. Flavor is non-citrus fruit with a hint of citrus and mildly roasty malt. Fortunately I’m not getting any chocolate aspect, so it’s a decent hoppy and tasty beer. Not all that dry; moderately hoppy; decently bitter.
