Old rate, I have bought this beer in one supermarket, in Luxembourg during a trip, a long time ago, clearly better than the premium version, classical Christmas beer.

Bottle at home. Nice deep dark red to red brown color, decent sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, caramalts, caramel a bit, lightly raisins, a bit sweet, a light nutty hint. Overall quite decent. 7-4-7-3-14

Tight creamy beige head stayed on a very dark brown rich body. Malt, dark berry & brown sugar aroma. Medium bodied, tingly on the tongue with cloying soft finish. Spices, malt, burnt sugar & berry tastes.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark amber colour with a short off-white foamy head. Slightly dark malty nose with hints of sugar beet and a delicately toasty edge. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. Slightly toasted malt character with notes of caramel and traces of chocolate; rather slim, sweet-bitter finish. Finally okay. 11.I.18

"The beer is dark brown in colour with a nice creamy head. It tastes sweet and malty without any special aftertaste. Sadly nothing special about this Christmas beer but atleast it is a Christmas beer. Merry Christmas!" - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

Deep amber brown colour, small frothy beige head, dissipates quickly, light lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, brown sugar, light liquorice. Flavour medium to light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, roasted malts. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, coffee grounds, spicy notes; medium body, watery to oily texture, average carbonation, nothing special but all in all okay.
