Cloudy golden, creamy white head. Cereals and subtle white bread / dough. Just a hint of green fruit - no obvious young character. Tastes dry, with no particular malt character. Expectedly chewier and more abbrasive than the filtered variety. Almost no hops.

Hazy yellow. Aroma is fresh beery yeast and some sugar icing, less herbs some wheat. Taste is grainy sweetish wheat. Less hop bitterness. A bit mealy on the tongue.

Tap (at factory pub, timisoara). Pours hazy yellow with white head. The head stays. Aroma is mild grainy, cardboard, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grainy, bready, malt. Feels bit watery, and full at the same time. Finish has slight bitterness. Has nice fresh feeling. Overall: very decent pale lager, a lot better than filtered version (probably a lot fresher also).

At the brewery restaurant. Very cloudy with a massive head and quite effervescent. The aroma is yeasty with vanilla and a light lemon accent. Yeasty character, hint of lemon, touch of hop similar to regular Timi. Fairly refreshing for a nefiltrata.

19/08 Draught at Timisoreana brewery restaurant. It poured hazy yellow body with small head. Chalk, herbal and grainy aroma, acidic. Flavor is yeasty, typical for an unfiltered beer, while hay and grainy notes that are best felt in ordinary version, along with lemony notes are evident as well. Medium bodied, but had some short watery, chalky and lemony finish. Slightly sour. Not bad, they should pack it like this anyway.

Draught at the brewery restaurant. This porued a murky, full yellow body, Slightly sickly husky nose, slightly acidic and yeasty. Soft yeasty taste, too bad the yeastiness isn’t all that great. One can see at first that there’s a crappy pale macro lager underneath. And yet... as it got warmer, interesting herbal notes started popping up near the end. I’d venture even notes of watermelon, propelling it from the initial 2.3, 2.4 to a 2.7. I completely didn’t mind it in the end and figured it was better than everything else we’d ordered at first (though Stejar Strong and Redd’s Fresh are hardly tough competition).
