Hand-pulled pint in The Vaults, Shrewsbury on 23rd Aug 2014. This is proof you do not need buckets of alcohol to make a tasty beer. Poured a good golden colour, clear and almost bright: the head off-white. The nose was more malts than hops with a light sweetness that led you into the mild citrusy taste that hid the malts sweetness picked up in the aroma. Nice blend, especially for a 3.3%ABV brew.

Lightly hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and pretty crisp. Minerals. Very light malt. Nice bitter marmalade and citric peel hops contrast nicely with the sharp minerally crispness. Finishes crisp with a touch of sweet malt coming in. Peel bitter linger.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, citrusy hoppy aroma has an explicit pineapple note, a spicy touch of malt and yeast origin. Taste is bitter hoppy, slightly chalky and mineral, cardboard, Aspirin, backgroundish pineapple remains only in nearly homoeopathic rarefaction; lasting bitter finish. Very aromatic for its 3.3% abv, sadly the really nice pineapple note doesn’t survive in desirable intensity.

0,5L bottle. Pours hazy golden with off-white head. Aroma is rather weak fruits and malt. Flavor is hoppy, pine bitter, fruits, and malt. Finish is nice pine bitter. Overall: as far as below 3.5% brews go, this is one of the best I have tried.
