Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en drop. De smaak is vol gebrand, houtig, salmiak en drop.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Mr. Hop.
Pitch black with a very thine beige head. Scotch whisky aroma with roasted malts. Sweet taste with a low bitter taste. Scotch is not overpowering as normally. Great BA imperial stout

Pours a black body and a creamy beige head with a small layer retention. Aroma's: quite boozy, umami, dark fudge. Retronasal: boozy, a bit spiritus, sweetish, syruppy, umami. Flavor is above moderate sweet, ligjt roasty bitter. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Long finish, roasty and increasingly bitter.

Black with creamy head. Aroma is very oaky, woody. Very thick and creamy texture, especially for a barrel aged version. Lots of wood. Some sherry, whisky and generic spicy alcohol notes. In the background there's plenty of heavily roasted bitter malt.
