Can. Pretty much a clear deepish amber beer, small bubbly tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Feels a lot lighter than its abv. Smooth malts, caramel and cream. Decent ripe fruits, touch of marmalade. A vanilla barrel streak, curious as it hasn't been in a barrell has it? Mild esters and little alcohol spice on the semi dry finish. I feel like have been a bit previous on this one, a bit too keen. I reckon this would be a good deal better in about 3 years. Decent now mind.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 18 July 2024) Hazy reddish brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dried fruit, raisins, figs, prunes, caramel and brown sugar. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, prunes, raisins, figs, caramel, a touch of sweet liquorice and a warming finish with a mild spicy bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Vinous and boozy, but rich and fairly well balanced. Very nice.

Can. Color: Clear red copper, dark beige head. Aroma: Sweet, raisins, caramel, hints of nuts and almond. Taste: Sweet, boozy, raisins, honey, caramel, malty, hints of nuts. Hoppy backbone with light to moderate bitterness. Sweet and bit boozy finish. Feels cheap. Reminds me a bit of cheap high alcohol alcoholist lagers. Sorry, no offence, I know it's not a cheap productions but it is what it is for me... Well done, but it just doesn't work for me.

0.33 l can from 'Drankgigant.nl', best before December 2027. Clear, very dark ruby with a few beige bubbles on top of it. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity and a little boozy aroma of molasses, toffee, raisins, prunes, marzipan and honey. Heavily sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite fruity and gently boozy taste of molasses, caramel, raisins, prunes, dates, honey, orange jam and some marzipan, followed by a long, gently bitter, boozy finish. Full body, smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty malt bomb, a really big beer, not for the faint heart.
