(Can, 0.5 l - BB 30.10.15, 20141223) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medum sized and white. Aroma had caramel and sweet chocolate. Palate was rather light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, burnt malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A watered down Schwarzbier with added sweetness.

Looks like a Dunkel should do. Lots of bread , caramel, roast in aroma. Sweetish taste. The palate is very thin & watery. Nothing intresting.

33cl can from S-Market, Helsinki. Pours dark brown with a lasting off-white to beige head. Mild roasty aroma with dark malts, caramel and hint of chocolate. Sweet and caramely with some roasty notes and a light bitterness. Pleasant and quite nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dark on 20 Aug 2013 at 19:57 - Score: 6

Aroma is mostly coffee. Dark colour, medium head. Low bitterness, but the beer is not sweet, so it tastes quite ok. Average carbonation, a bit too high for me, watery mouthfeel. Acceptable Czech dark - light beer without unpleasant sweetness, dominated by coffee flavour.

Draught at BBF12. Almost black colour, clear with a red shine. Small off-white head. The flavour seems very sweet to begin with, but one gets used to it after a while. Has a good bitterness to balance.

Bottle. Very dark brown color with a medium bubbly beige head. Aroma of cheap milk chocolate, nutty notes, caramel and a bit of iced-cappuccino. Sweet malty flavor, a bit kvass/malzbier-like with caramel, coffee with milk and sugar, nutty hints and a bit of toasted bread. Finishes more roasty. Rather light-bodied. Too sweet to be enjoyable.
