Bottle from Sterk Amsterdam. Roasty and quite sweet with an aroma of coconut, caramel, fudge, candy sugary notes, chocolate, and dark fruit. Flavour is sweet with some bitterness. Body is medium. Nice, but I would have liked this better with a little less sweet sugary caramel and a more imperial body.

Clear dark brown beer, patchy bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light and has modest fine carbonation. A little dark chocolate is quickly overwhelmed by huge milky coconut. Some cocoa on the semi dry finish. Yoiks, a bit of a milky mess. A poor show from the normally reliable and often stellar Kees.

Bottle. Dark brown, creamy foam. Aroma: fortified wine, vanilla or bourbon, sweet, caramel, coconut, a little herbs like dill. Sweet taste, caramel, chocolate, cream, bourbon, fortified wine, coconut, butter, slightly sour, good.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, roast and chloride in the aroma. Malty sweet, soft roasty flavor with bounty bars and coconut. Low on carbon. Not exactly my taste.

I had low expectations, and this surpasses them a long way! Lovely smooth, rich chocolatey taste, the right amount of coconut, not too toasted. Very smooth, super easy drinking, lovely soft mouthfeel. Excellent example of a coconut beer that works for me!

Bottle. Dark brown w a beige head that's soon at the rim. 3- Aroma of mocha, coconut, earth. Medium bodied. Oddly limp with little roasted, mocha or bready structure holding up coconut and some earthy notes. Bitterness creeps up at the end.
