First brewed in 2010. A beer brewed according to the original recipe of the 16th century beer masters of Bavaria. The Weiss Damm is a type of beer in which the yeast does not filter (hefe-weissbier), which gives it a cloudy and pale yellow appearance. An aspect that led to it being popularly baptized with the name of "Weissbier", white beer.

Tap at bar in San Sebastian a hazed golden amber coloured pour with a lasting creamy head. Aroma is semi sweet bread pudding, bready grains, vanilla. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, wheat, bready light salt, vanilla light apple, banana. Palate is semi sweet, frothy carbonation. Ok.

Cloudy medium yellow golden colour, tall frothy white head, half-way lasting, average lacing. Aroma wheat, banana, yeast, lemon peel, bit coriander. Taste medium sweet and very light citrusy sourness, wheaty, short to average duration. Kinda weak sweet aftertaste, light spicy notes, light body, watery texture, soft carbonation;, all in all a bit thin.

Ambar anaranjada, turbia. Clavo en el aroma. Rico sabor, cítrico con rica base malteada, y toques especiados. Menos dulce que la mayoría de cervezas del estilo, lo que personalmente me agrada. Buena textura cremosa y buen final. De lo mejor de Damm.

Pours hazy whittish golden. Loads of white head. Almost no aroma: a little pie dough, a little white flowers. Full body. Abrupt finish.

330ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with huge, creamy, fairly lasting & lacing, beaten egg-white head. Peppery spicy, yeasty aroma, a mustard touch, banana background. Taste is minimally sweet wheaty, a touch of banana; soft to flat carbonation, a bit flabby overall.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and firm foamy white head. Yeasty, moderately wheaty aroma with notes of bananas and some overripe citrus. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Yeasty wheat-character with notes of overripe fruits, a touch of banana and minor spicy notes; moderately sweet, wheaty and mildly fruity finish. Rather mediocre. 25.XI.14
