CBC Yellow Session. Keg. Light haze on this deep gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light sweet malts, dry and slightly floral. Mellow ripe orange. Trace of spice. Light dry finish. Does have a German feel. Clean and tasty.

From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is hrainy and slight grassy. Toasted malty. Bitter and slight fruity. Dry and toasted into the finish.

Tap at CBC2015. Slightly hazy golden color, small white head. Aroma is sweet grainy with maltyness. Medium-bodied. Alcoholic, sweetish honeyish malty flavor. Quite German. Ok.

On tap at Naka-meguro taproom spring 2014. Light brownish amber color with a modest off-white head. Aromas of plum, fig and currant with a lot of malts on the nose. Creamy mouthfeel that is sweet on the palate. 7% as part of a tasting set at Dig Bar. A light copper color with a thick filmy head that clings to the glass. A fruity grainy malt aroma. Very smooth full bodied beer. The taste is creamy graham & biscuit, lots of malt character. Pretty good stuff.

Draught at Baird Naka-Meguro Taproom. Clear deep golden. Sweet and honeyish with clean, hard bold mouthfeel. Fruity with flavour of grains, honey and, well... thatβs all. Finishes with low bitterness. Lacks the central part of a bock: malt softness and depth. This is just a strong, bold end edgy lager.
