Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Airy thin pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Nice Nectaron. Crisp pine and mild hop spice. Light and very slightly floral peachy stone fruits, whisper of tropical fruits. Touch of lemony citrus on the back end, a Brucie bonus! Really nice pale ale and a lovely Nectaron presentation. Wish Kernel would go back to their previous and, imho, much superior malt bill but, this assured hop presentation does remind me of golden age Kernel.

Keg at Mother Arch ii, 15/05/24. Hazed orange with a good sized lasting just off white head. Nose is melon, grass, tangerine, papaya, light bread dough, soft malts. Taste comprises orange zest, grass, pine nip, melon, mandarin, juicy citric flesh. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness. It's a solid crushable pale but on par with plenty of Kernel's APA output and really not worthy of the early rate hype!

500ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light golden, a little bit hazy with a small white head. Delicate peach, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple aroma. Sweet, juicy taste, lots of creamy citrus notes, followed by a stark bitterness. The bitterness lingers in the long finish. Full body for the ABV with soft to medium carbonation. Excellent!

Tap at kernel tap room bermondsey arch 7. A translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting fluffy white head. Attractive. Aroma is semi sweet floral orange blossom, orange zest, soft bready grains, light pine around the edges. Palate is lovely massaging fine carbonation, light resinous bite, crispish finish. Flavour is composed of rustic bready grains, bitter orange, woody pine, zesty, dirty wheat, assertive bitterness.. Super drinkable.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. One of three I got on the strength of Leighton’s rate. Hazed glowing gold. Swede is stunning. Nose is chock full of stone fruit. Ripe peach and nectarine up front with hints of zested sweet orange peel. Whiff of resin. Bit of yellow melon. Clean dry grain in the background. Taste has a juicy pithy bright fruit bitterness. Little in the way of sweetness overall other than a flicker on the lips. Juicy and mouthwatering on the palate with brisk rolling carbonation. Bitterness lingers on the finish. Oof.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours musty yellow-gold with a creamy, white topping. Wow, this is gorgeous. Lightly sweet with a little salty pine, citrus peel, some dirty straw, grass, pale malt. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Refreshing and bitter to finish, more citrus rind, bit of pine, dry pale bread, some earthy accents. Drinkability is sky high. Spectacular.
