50 cl. bottle poured in to a snifter. Hazy dark amber-golden colour with a frothy, off-white head. Fruity aroma with grapefruits, citrus, grasses, spices and caramel malts. Taste is medium bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes rather dry and bitter with grapefruits and pines. Nice, hop-driven ale.

Bottle @Õllesummeri, Tallinn
Hazy orange color, steady off-white head. Citrus, sweet fruits and yeast in the nose. Medium-bodied. Front is exotic fruity, later grapefruity bitterness and lingering hoppyness. Quite good, sweetish IPA/ESB. Robust malt profile for this ABV.

(Cask at Kitty’s, 20130831) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small, long lasting and white. Aroma had malts, hops and caramell. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, caramell and bitterness. Aftertaste had hops, caramell, malts and bitterness. A good balanced English style ale.

Aroma: Honey, sugary malt and grapefruit.
Appearance: Slightly hazy golden body with a medium white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing.
Taste: Balance between bitter unripe melon and sweet honey - it tastes boozier than its 5.6% ABV. Dry, metallic finish.
Palate: Medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Average carbonation.
Overall: A bit too sweet for my liking - I struggled to finish the bottle.

7.2% bottle at the GJBF Osaka 2013. A dark yellowish gold color, the aroma has a hint of smoke but not as strong as with the Bronze. My favorite of the three Celts I tried today. A bit of smoke, the bitterness is more balanced-quite an interesting beer, I liked it.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy gold with a slight off-white head. Soft grapefruit aroma. Med body. Flavor is grapefruit and floral. Some malt background. It’s definitely on the bitter side. Just a lot different from US ales. Which in this case seems to be a good thing.
