Sep. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle from Mali Ducan, Split. It poured a bit hazy golden body with smaller head. Weaker malty and citrus aroma with a touch of some fruits from its malts. Flavor was bitter, with herbal and pine bitterness dominating over light honey and bready malts. Medium to full bodied with moderately long, lightly bittersweet finish. Okay, but just that - pretty simple and not thrilling, even lightly unbalanced, inclining a lot to a golden ale. Unconventional IPA, expected more of it.

0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka. Retro tasting session by Hrabren’s Choice. Shared with Višnja. Clead golden, small off-white head. Herbal aromas, malts underneath, quite clear, light to medium hopped, light mint. Sweet malty, perfumed. Soft carbonation, light to medium body, abrupt finish. Compromises, trying to make something acceptable.

330ml bottle: just out of date. Poured into a Duvel glass at home on 28th Oct 2016. Lovely clear deep golden body, full white head. Pleasant aroma, almost white wine like, less citrus smells looking at the hop varieties used. The same in the flavour, wine like (semi-sweet) not as citrusy as I expected (pleased about that actually). Overall a nice blend: nothing strong or provocative, just an easy going fairly sweet beer with enough flavour to keep your taste buds guessing.

Bottle from Pivoteka. Full golden-orange body with a big white head, somewhat lasting. Cute light hoppy fruity aroma. White grapes mostly and light caramel. Grainy malty taste with mild perfumey grape notes, vaguely citric and herbal. Medium bitterness going into a light finish. This is a good, drinkable golden ale that will disappoint you if you seek huge hoppiness, but unlike some of the category, it does use at least some of its hops well and they are noticable. Without flaws, a good beer.
