On tap at the brewpub during RBNAG-09. Looking quite nice in the glass, hazy and copper colored. The head is a nice, dense, beige one. Butterscotch, roasted malts and some coffee on the nose. The flavor has a certain acidity, is quite bready, and nice but too butterscotchy. Bready finish with a fruity touch. Medium body, dry. Overall, too much butterscotch for my palate, but it feels very refreshing anyway. 091107

From keg at the brewery during the RBNAG 2009. Slightly hazy amber body with a descent beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, butter and some acidity. Flavor is quite sweet malty, caramel, butter, acid, a bit metallic with a bitter finish. Medium body and a long finish that starts bitter and ends up sour. I had a opposite experience with the acidity in this beer copared with Glad Laks. The acidity didn’t feel to dominating in the start, but becomes more unpleasant at the bottom of my glass. Not totally wrong, actually quite promising, but to much acid.
