Tap. Pours clear ruby chestnut, medium creamy tan head, dissipates slowly, great lacing. Aroma is light pine, caramel, smoke. Flavor is medium sweet, piney, light plus bitter, a bit harsh on the finish. Fullish body, creamy mouthfeel.

Pours clear reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, biscuit, nuts, citrus, pine and grape. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, piney and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the taproom. It pours a hazy amber body and a small light beige head. Lightly roasted aroma with caramel, nuts and some hops. Full body, soft carbonation. Rather bitter flavor with roasted malts, caramel and some pine cones. Long bitter finish. A perfectly decent beer that didn’t impress. 130812

Bottle. Bronze beer with a dark cream head. Malt and grapefruit aroma with pine and light dark malts. Pine and grapefruit flavor with light dark malts. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger with light cocoa and light dark malts.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours darkly garnet. With a slight creamy beige head. Aroma of lots and lots of hop. With a hint of malt. Full bodied. Flavor is earthy hop. Then there’s a bunch of weird stuff - like marshmallow and coffee? But it’s hoppy. It’s bitter. It’s earthy. It asserts control of the mouth. Finishing earthy/coffee/bitter/? - there’s a lot going on here. Not much malt tho? This just cannot have been predicted. A lucky occurrence.

On tap at the brewery (listed at 7.7%). India Brown Ale. Pours with a clear, brown body and an off-white head. Aroma is huge with resin and pine. A touch of medicine and brambles. Flavors are bitter with brown sugar, orange zest and pine. Dry and extremely bitter finish.
