On tap @ the brewpub. Cristal clear ruby red body with a fine, stable, creamy off-white head. Lovely aroma with strong citric fruit, grapefruit and pine in combination with a fine rye and caramel malt base. Flavor is nice, fruity, pine, soft rye and smooth caramel malt. Also a good dose of bitterness that follows the beer all the way throughout the aftertaste. Fine balanced body and long lasting aftertaste. A really nice IPA this one, lots of fruit and pines in fine harmony with the rye and caramel. Definitively something else than the more commonly plain caramel base. Very moorish.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a hazy, dark amber to copper colored body under a small, dense fingerthick beige head. It’s very piney on the nose, with citrus peel, resins and some caramel maltyness. There’s a solid malty backbone, with lots of hops up front. Some bready caramel, and lots of pine cones, resins and grapefruit. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting bitter finish. Really pleasant this one, tasteful and dangerously easy drinkable. 150209
